I got bored of watching the old meme on my front page, but I don't know what to write. Hello, I'm Elina, I'm from Finland and I like BJDs. I photograph them a lot. I also love RPGs, retro and vintage things, deers, coffee and other nifty stuff.

Why did you join this site?
I used to have a DA account before but felt like making a new one for my doll photos.
What does your username have to do with you? Is it a combination of your favorite things, or a character of yours?
It's my doll alias, and there is nothing fancy behind it except I thought it sounded nice. The good thing is also that it's rather unique, so if you see 'fairchildren' somewhere in the dolly world, it's probably me.
What is your current icon of?
Meital's mouth when she was still Ciel-F2. She's been also Ciel-F1 and is currently Ciel-F3. No, I cannot choose.
How many watchers do you have and how many people are you currently watching?
I watch 32 people and 348 people watch me. Woah, that's lot.
Do you have more than one account?
Nopers.
Name 3 of your favorite artists on DA and what deviant do you admire because of their personality?
Too lazy, no.
How many people on here do you actually know in reality? Post their avatars.
Actually I know quite many because many members of Finnish BJD fandom are members. Anyhoo,
for example are my RL friends and

I dunno, I get awesome comments. Maybe when someone thinks Uncle K is a girl...

This is quite random. No.

Nope. I'm a laaaaazy participant.
Everyone has considered leaving DA once or twice. Have you? Why?
Actually I haven't Why should I? "Leaving" any community sounds like D-R-A-M-A to me, if I don't like some place, I just don't visit it for a while. There are annoying people everywhere and trust me, especially BJD fandom attracts many people with social/other problems. I believe that just handling these situations in a mature and calm way makes you a better person. Or maybe not but it feels damn good to be able to just let go instead of creating a huge online drama and fuss.

Goodbye, summer!

Not that I have much to say, but this thing needed an update...
Some changes have happened and will continue happening on the dolly front. I've sold my Heliot head because I found a better mold for his character. You'll see! Also my Minifee is gone and replaced with Pukifee Ante, Enne. I'm dreaming of giving her little antlers and hooves made of transparent resin, and because I have a friend who's a talented sculptor and knows how to cast resin...well, you'll see, you'll see! I have big ideas.
There are also some big changes in my life, so if I disappear for a while, it's because of that. No worries, I'll always be back, I love this hobby too much. You can't get rid of me this easily, mwahaha.

Hello, summer!

And now something complitely different: a proper journal entry for a change.
My BJD family is getting complete: I got my Soom Heliot and Customhouse Cebee after 4-5 months of waiting. I sold my MNF Dreaming Marcia, but her character will return in, uh. Quite the tiny form ;3
By the end of the year I hope to be able to buy a new camera. My trustworthy 350D is getting old, and I have a nagging feeling our story will end soon. I hope to be able to hop in Canon's 30D/40D/50D league, I think my photography could greatly benefit from a better camera. Then I have some new lenses on my shopping list, and a light tent. Oh this hobby is a sure way to make sure you shall never have too much money...
Anyway, I wish you all a sunny and great summer! Remember to eat tons of icecream :3
